Yep, the latest in the DS9 relaunch is out now.
I've wanted to write a review of this since the weekend, but I'm not sure where to begin. Make no mistake, this is a hell of a ride, a solid combination of suspense and action. There are some answers to the questions everyone had after Worlds of Deep Space Nine (especially the Bajor and Dominion stories), but the story is not resolved. A lot of it is setup for what comes next, so as a standalone novel, with the next book a year away, it's somewhat frustrating. But it provides satisfactory (and occasionally surprising) resolutions to questions left unanswered in the Worlds of Deep Space Nine stories, and prepares two big cans of whupass for opening and using on the Federation in upcoming books.
